Resume analysis got faster
The step that matches your skills against a job description now does the same work in about a quarter of the time. You should notice it most on the free check.
Screen readers now read form hints and errors
Every form now announces its hint text and its error messages. If you use a screen reader, a field that rejects your input tells you why, instead of only saying 'invalid'.
Before: The hint and error text was on screen but was never connected to the field, so assistive software skipped it.
No page scrolls sideways on a phone any more
Pages with wide tables, the privacy policy most of all, used to push the whole layout sideways on a narrow screen. Every page now stays within the width of your phone, and wide tables scroll on their own.
Headings are sized for small screens
Eight pages had titles that rendered larger on a phone than intended, crowding the content underneath. They now step down properly.
Email is more reliable, and will not send twice
Verification and password email now falls through to a second provider if the first is unavailable, so sign-up does not stall. A batch interrupted halfway can no longer resend to people who already received it.
The free check downloads less before you use it
The page no longer loads the whole results view before you have uploaded anything. Less to download on a slow connection, and the upload form is ready sooner.
